30 Days in a Faith Fight by Jenn Ray

As I think about what to write in the introduction for this devotional, I realize that the reason it’s difficult is because I never imagined that it would be a devotional. This 30-Day Faith Challenge started out with me being obedient to believe God to restore a relationship that had been severed horribly, and a few friends who also wanted to see God move mightily in their lives. As the challenge came to a close, I was able to see just how many lives could be transformed by me being transparent with its contents. For that reason, the 30-Day Faith Challenge Devotional was conceived.
My greatest desire is that as you read each day’s devotion, you will be encouraged to continue; that you will not give up, cave in or quit tapping into the promises of God for your life. Take this challenge one day at a time. I left space for you on each page to allow you time to write your feelings, thoughts, and the events that happen along the journey. Take advantage of the opportunity to use these spaces to journal.
As you begin this challenge, my prayer is that God strengthens you for the journey. I pray that His grace, His ability be upon you to continue when you feel like giving up. Most of all, I pray that you would know and believe the love that God has towards you, which is the foundation for faith in every promise He has made to us.
I want you, the reader, to understand that this 30-Day Faith Challenge is not a guarantee that in 30 days everything that you trust in God for will be manifested, or that your situation will be fixed. The 30-Day Faith Challenge is just that – a challenge for you to be faithful; full of faith. It is a tool to help you stand on the promise of God. If you stand on a promise from the Word of God, you will win! All the promises of God are “yes” and “amen!” Stand and believe for 30 days, then keep standing. Never give up until you see the promise of God manifested in your life!
I’m excited to take this journey together. The next 30 days will be filled with the Glory of God as well as challenges and some opposition. Just know that we always win through Christ if we fight!! Here’s how to get started:
- Figure out the one thing that you will trust God to provide for you
- Find a promise in the Bible to meet that need
- Meditate on and memorize that promise
